7. Consultation seminars<br />

7.1 It is anticipated that, among others, the following interests/organisations will be<br />

invited to participate in the regional seminars:<br />

■ RDA<br />

■ RCC<br />

■ RAB/MDA<br />

■ Regional Production Agencies<br />

■ Regional Training Consortia<br />

■ Regional Screen Commissions and <strong>Film</strong> Offices<br />

■ LAs<br />

■ Exhibitors (eg via COMEX), Producers (eg via PACT), Educationalists, Broadcasters.<br />

7.2 DCMS officials in each Government Office have agreed to assist with the coordination<br />

of the seminar programme.<br />

7.3 It is anticipated that the seminars will involve up to 20-30 people. John<br />

Woodward will attend each seminar as will Carol Comley and Terri Jones. The bfi<br />

will be invited to attend each seminar. An independent facilitator will be<br />

approached to chair the discussion. An agenda and issues paper will be<br />

circulated in advance of each meeting.<br />

7.4 Notes of each seminar will be produced and circulated to all those who attend<br />

and to key personnel listed in 4.2 as soon as practicable after each seminar.<br />
