Chapter 1: Introduction to the Research Area
This chapter provides an introduction to the proposed research. The following
section provides an overview of electronic government. Section 1.3 will define the
research aim and objectives. The research question that will guide this study to
achieve the proposed aims and objectives are offered in Section 1.4. The context of
the study is offered in Section 1.5. The research significance of this study is then
offered in Section 1.6. To familiarise the readers with the remainder of this thesis,
an overview is offered in Section 1.7. Finally, Section 1.8 provides a summary of
this chapter.
