Beach Education Instructor of the Year Jody is an experienced and committed beach educator, with a strong passion and dedication to keeping kiwi students safe at our beaches. This award is a reflection of the experience, can-do attitude and value Jody brings to the Otago Beach Education team. Winner JODY MOWAT, ST KILDA SLSC
Instructor of the Year Sarah is Oreti’s Lifeguard Coordinator and Chief Instructor, and she organises the club’s lifeguarding activities - both training and patrolling. She runs the training for new lifeguards, and this season organised the training session for First Aid, VHF Radio and the IRB crew persons’ module. A graduate of the BP Leaders for Life programme, she is on her way to becoming an examiner for the Surf Lifeguard Award. Winner SARAH BALL, ORETI SLSC
