The Complete Concept Facility
Göteborg is the only city in Scandinavia with all-inclusive congress facilities in the city centre, a
convenience greatly appreciated by organisers and delegates alike. This means that there is only a
limited need for transfers between hotels and the congress venue.
In terms of comfort and technological facilities, the Göteborg Convention Centre is one of the
leading centres in Europe. The opportunities to combine large-scale congresses with exhibitions,
posters, seminars, lectures and smaller conferences are practically endless. Göteborg Convention
Centre is part of the Swedish Exhibition Centre. Attached to the congress centre is also in-house
Hotel Gothia Towers which is the largest hotel in Scandinavia. Plans for a third hotel tower and a
new exhibition hall are in progress.
