Gunnebo House and Gardens
Gunnebo House and Gardens is the purest example of Swedish neo-classical architecture. The
manor is beautifully situated between two lakes, Rådasjön and Stensjön, just south of Göteborg.
The park surrounding Gunnebo has the characteristics of a classic French park from the 17 th and
18 th century. For more information please visit www.gunneboslott.se
Tjolöholm Castle and Park
On a peninsula 40 kilometres south of Göteborg, the Elizabethan style manor house Tjolöholm
Castle is located. The building was erected 1898-1904 but looks like a building from the Tudor era,
the inside however is a brilliant example of Art Nouveau. Tjolöholm is the only manor in Sweden
that has modern commodities from the beginning of the last century and offer outdoor swimming
and beautiful natural trails. For more information about the beautiful park, the manor house, the
church and the wagon museum please visit www.tjoloholm.se
Museum is located on one of the most beautiful islands on the Swedish west coast, Tjörn Island, and
the building is designed to open a natural relationship between landscape, building and the sea. For
