City Trek
Explore Göteborg’s scenic city centre by foot - a new and
exciting way to see more of the city! A handheld GPS will guide
the group of delegates to various sites around town where a
guide will meet up. The city trek can also be turned in to a
treasure hunt (optional). The trek will guide delegates through
all the major attractions in the City of Göteborg. Delegates
will for example pass by the floating Maritime museum, the
Göteborg Opera house, the old Fortifications at Kungshöjd
and the Horticultural Gardens. Furthermore, the group will
make some stops in and around the central areas of Göteborg,
where the guide will tell the group more about the city’s history
and the sights. The trek can be arranged for anything from two
hours to a full day, according to the Congress requirements,
and can include coffee, lunch and/or dinner.

Ice Hockey Game
Ice Hockey is something of a national sport in Sweden and the national team proved their worth
by winning the 006 Winter Olympics Gold and the 006 World Championships. In 003 and
005, Göteborg won the national championship, causing manic celebrations on the streets. With
the centrally located arena, Scandinavium, it is easy to arrange a company championship where
teams play against each other for honour and glory. Equipment is provided and a chance to hone
your skills during practice is led by a professional ice hockey player before the puck is dropped.
Soccer Game
Build up team spirit with a soccer game at Göteborg’s Ullevi Stadium. Friendly competition amongst
colleagues or clients can be fun and insightful. There are many activities available in Göteborg for
the more adventurous groups and organisations. Play 7 on 7-football at Ullevi Stadium, home to
World Cup, Champions League and European Cup games! Hang your shirt in the change rooms on
pegs used by legends like Pelé, Beckenbauer or Sweden’s Henrik Larsson.
