If you want to catch a glimpse of gold-like deserts, forts, Havelis and the
majestic luxury, then come to Jaisalmer in the western corner of the
country. It is a city of very beautiful forts and Havelis in terms of solo
travelling.
I
f you go here, first visit the Jaisalmer
Fort during the day time. After this, go
out towards the desert. In the
evening, riding the camel in the miles of the
desert there, the feeling of seeing the sun
behind the dunes is supernatural. You can
go camping in the desert at night under the
starry sky. Among the traditional dishes
here, ker-sangri sabzi, dal baati and
churma are the most delicious traditional
dishes. This historical city is famous
worldwide for its artistic style and beauty.
This city has many large Havelis of yellow
colour, due to which Jaisalmer is also
known as the 'City of Havelis'. When the sun
spreads its rays on these Havelis, the form
of this city is worth seeing.
