Sculptures grace gardens<br />

Sculptures were the centrepiece<br />
of the Pegasus Bay Winery’s<br />
gardens last Friday, during the<br />
launch of Sculpture. <strong>North</strong><br />
<strong>Canterbury</strong>.<br />
The pieces by contemporary<br />
artists are found throughout the<br />
extensive grounds of the winery,<br />
providing an opportunity for art<br />
lovers and collectors to view a<br />
diverse range of installations<br />
outside the walls of atraditional<br />
gallery.<br />
The launch was celebrated by<br />
130 art lovers.<br />
The sixweek outdoor<br />
exhibition, which is now in its<br />
third year, is organised by Art In<br />
aGarden curator Laura Forbes.<br />
Sculpture. <strong>North</strong> <strong>Canterbury</strong><br />
gives visitors the opportunity to<br />
mix art with wine in a<br />
picturesque garden setting.<br />
The free exhibition will run<br />
until November 27.<br />
Doors are open, to enjoy the<br />
gardens seven days aweek, from<br />
10am to 5pm.<br />
All art work is for sale and can<br />
be taken home at the time of<br />
payment.<br />
