Everyone has done agood job of being flexible and has risento the occasion."Marblehead High School studentsare divided into two cohorts, with eachgroup attending classes two days a week.Approximately 400 students are in theschool each day, except Wednesday,which is a remote day for everyone,according to Buckey.All told, 1,200 students are in schooleach day throughout the district's sixschools. That number is less than halfof the district's total enrollment ofapproximately 2,700 students, Buckey said.While Buckey said students seemto be enjoying the hybrid schedule,approximately 350 students have chosento learn remotely for the school year."There's no true substitute for fullin-person learning, but we're not in aposition to return to what is normalpre-pandemic, so we're making the bestof what is not an optimal situation,"said Buckey. "I think that students andteachers want to be in-person. Studentsare very resilient. It's been hard sinceMarch and they have really stepped up tothe plate."
