WELLNESS/SUPPORT CPS pioneered a Health and Wellness program since the beginning of the COVID -19 pandemic with a caring team who were vigilant of any symptoms of social-emotional vulnerability within our community (including students, parents, faculty, and staff) in order to provide the needed support. The team was comprised of the Admissions Office, School Psychologist and Social Emotional Learning Coordinator. The school will continue to carry out this program and also has the following support personnel: SCHOOL NURSES | SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST | SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING CONSULTANT COLLEGE & GUIDANCE COUNSELOR | IT SUPPORT | ADDITIONAL TEACHERS AND TEACHER ASSISTANTS COMMUNICATIONS CPS will ensure that all stakeholders (parents, students, faculty and staff) receive consistent and clear information regarding the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, using trusted sources, as well as the measures taken to safely reopen both campuses. These communications will be issued via email, regular website, as well as with appropriate informational signage. Health and Safety requirements and the organization of the days on campus will be specified prior to arrival. CPS will also reach out to all constituent groups via surveys to access their opinion, as needed, recognizing that our community members are important contributors in the decision-making process going forward. FINANCES CPS has studied the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on its operating budget and has adjusted it accordingly to reflect the added costs necessary to deliver our program in a hybrid manner, while also securing a safe return to campus. Many risk-mitigating measures have been implemented including the acquisition of furniture and fixtures, equipment, supplies, technological enhancements, increased faculty and staff, and others in order to support the needs of our community and ensure a safe and healthy return to school. Because of this, CPS is not able to reduce the tuition and fees that have been set for this school year. Notice: Please note that this Roadmap to Reopening is a living document and is subject to change. Protocols and procedures may be updated periodically to reflect new information and recommendations from various sources including government and public health agencies, the CPS administration, and our Board of Directors. 20
