raport and to include a cornplato list of corporations, a
continuing reviov of the corporations, end a completa set
of managament standards for the corporations.
-- Government corporations should be uniformly classified to
ensure that appropriate povere arm granted and that
corporate raaponalbilitioa and accountability are clear.
-- The l atabliahamnt of govarnmant corporations should conform
to standard criteria, in order to include those enterprises
vhich are rwonuo producing, potontially self-sustaining,
and which require a legal entity for effective operations.

given to government corporationa.
The GAO report7 identified 47 gwornaant corporations. GAO
made this raviav as part of its overall efforts to l xaaina
govarnaant corporations in tha specific contaxt of standards and
controls.
