The Directors regard Berjaya Land Berhad as the immediate holding company and Berjaya Group Berhad<br />
as the ultimate holding company.<br />
ISSUE OF SHARES AND CONVERSION OF LOAN STOCKS (CULS)<br />
As at 30 April 1998, a total amount of RM3,900,000 of CULS were converted into 3,250,000 ordinary shares<br />
of RM1.00 each, which together with a total of 875,000 shares issued pursuant to the Staff Share Option<br />
Scheme, increased the issued and paid up share capital of the Company to RM572,322,000 (Note 13).
