The Directors regard Berjaya Land Berhad as the immediate holding company and Berjaya Group Berhad
as the ultimate holding company.
ISSUE OF SHARES AND CONVERSION OF LOAN STOCKS (CULS)
As at 30 April 1998, a total amount of RM3,900,000 of CULS were converted into 3,250,000 ordinary shares
of RM1.00 each, which together with a total of 875,000 shares issued pursuant to the Staff Share Option
Scheme, increased the issued and paid up share capital of the Company to RM572,322,000 (Note 13).
