AS we head into spring proper, it should come as no
surprise that we’re taking more and more inspiration
from nature and the outside world when it comes to our

Greens are considered to be calming, peaceful hues so
after such a tumultuous year it seems only right that
they’re coming to the fore.
Moving away from the deep dark forest hues of autumn
and super-sweet pastel shades, the greens of choice for
spring are a sophisticated bunch. Muted midtones of sage
and the slightly deeper and richer olive work perfectly in
any room and with a plethora of design schemes, from
pared-back freshness when mixed with whites and pale
woods, to beautifully bold when teamed with darker hues
and warm metallics.
For a spring style statement, sage is fast becoming one of
the hottest colours for kitchens; opt for the same shade for
both cabinetry and walls for a seamless transition which
makes the most of the hue.
