ENTERTAINMENT TREATS YOU’RE DUE TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY THIS MONTH<br />

WHAT: SCIENCE MUSEUM<br />

WHERE: THINKTANK BIRMINGHAM, MILLENNIUM POINT<br />

WHEN: MAY 29 ONWARDS<br />

Thinktank is finally set to reopen to the public this month after<br />

being closed since March last year.<br />

Families will once again be able to explore a world of wonder<br />

through impressive exhibits and historical collections, with<br />

reopening timed to coincide with the school half term holidays.<br />

To ensure people can keep a safe distance from each other,<br />

capacity will be limited and all visitors including members will<br />

need to pre-book a timed ticket in advance. Tickets will be<br />

available from <strong>May</strong> 6.<br />

WHAT: ART EXHIBITION<br />

WHERE: IKON GALLERY, BRINDLEYPLACE, BIRMINGHAM<br />

WHEN: MAY 17 ONWARDS<br />

Ikon Gallery reopens after lockdown with an exhibition of work<br />

for sale by more than 250 Birmingham artists.<br />

It’s unusual for Ikon, a charity, to exhibit works that are for sale<br />

but it has chosen to do so to try to help artists. 100% of the<br />

proceeds will go directly to the artists themselves.<br />

Tickets must be booked in advance, with a full list of the works<br />

available online from <strong>May</strong> 4. It will include paintings, drawings,<br />

photography, textiles, sculpture and video.<br />

WHAT: VARIETY SHOW<br />

WHERE: LICHFIELD GARRICK THEATRE<br />

WHEN: THURSDAY, MAY 20<br />

Variety show A Black Country Night Out, is currently<br />

set to be the first show at Lichfield’s Garrick Theatre<br />

following its reopening.<br />

It will include comedy, music and more - aiming to<br />

be a good old fashioned variety show featuring acts<br />

drawn from the region.<br />

The next show at the theatre is due to be musicals<br />

tribute Beyond the Barricades on Sunday, <strong>May</strong> 23.<br />
