High-spec offerings in
a compact package are
on offer from Kioti in its
new EX Tractor Series,
distributed exclusively
by PFG Australia
Australian demand for compact tractors has been rising
steadily over the past six months, with the Instant Asset
Write-Off scheme seeing farmers keen to finally buy some longneeded
assets.
Whether they are used on a hobby farm or small property, or
bought for general purpose farm work at a larger concern, the
sub-70 horsepower (52kW) compact tractor has earned its place
in the shed alongside other essential pieces of farm equipment.
Now, Kioti’s new EX Series enters the local market with a highspec,
multi-purpose model that is tailored to the more priceconscious
customer.
Available in 53hp (40kW) and 58hp (43kW) versions, the Kioti
EX5310 and EX5810 come complete with a number of new
features that the South Korean manufacturer says will give the
models an edge over the competition.
Able to reach a top speed of 27.9km/h, the Kioti EX Series
is designed to offer traction and excellent manoeuvrability in
changing ground conditions, with wet disc-type brakes and
power steering keeping the vehicle steady.
Both models have 12 forward and reverse gears in a threerange
smooth synchro shuttle transmission, with a dry single
clutch, rear differential lock and push-button four wheel drive.
They also have a powerful hydraulic system flow of 62.4L/
minute, with power take-off of 540-750-1,000rpm and two sets
