Chisholm faces the challenges of cystic fibrosis<br />

visits for some time.<br />

constantreminder of his illness as he<br />

musical comedy would be sold<br />
out, and ticket sales were‘‘certainly<br />
trending that way’’.<br />
This is the society’sthird production of<br />
Josephand the Amazing Technicolour<br />
Dreamcoat,abiblical story about Joseph<br />
and his coatofmany colours.<br />
The first show was in 1993 and the<br />
secondin2004.‘‘It is just so lovedbyso<br />
many, there was hugeenthusiasm from<br />
our members to do the show again,’’<br />

approximately 30 adults,20children, 20<br />
orchestra members and 80 for our<br />
production team, backstageand front of<br />
house,’’ she said. ‘‘Ittakes alot of<br />
managing.’’<br />
The showopens tonight (Thursday)<br />
and endsonSaturday, <strong>May</strong> 29. Tickets<br />
are on saleatiTicket, Stan’s Pharmacy in<br />
Rangiora and at the Kaiapoi iSite.<br />
His frustrations grow when he sees<br />
hundreds of millions of dollarsbeing<br />
spent on nonproductiveluxuries, while<br />
Pharmac remains ‘‘totally underfunded’’<br />
by successive governments.<br />
