8. S.V.U. College of Engineering
1. Nagamma Subba Reddy Prize
It awarded annually in the form of books and instruments to a student who passes
the I B.Tech. Examination at the first appearance securing the highest aggregate
marks. In case of a tie, the prize shall be divided and awarded to all such candidates.
2. Mallimadugula Seshamma Prizes
The prize shall be awarded to a B.Tech. (Civil) student of S.V.U. College of
Engineering securing the highest aggregate marks in subjects, (i) Soil Mechanics,
(ii) Foundation Engineering, and (iii) Geo technical Engineering, Practicals put
together. The aggregate marks are computed taking into account both sessional
and University Examination Marks.
3. Ivatury Prizes
The prize is awarded to each of the following taking into consideration all the
Engineering Colleges.
a) First rank holder in II year of all branches.
b) First rank holder in III year of all branches.
c) First rank holder in each of the branches taking into account the aggregate
marks of II, III and IV B.Tech. Examinations.
4. Harshul Jayant Dalal prizes
The prize are awarded to the Mechanical Engineering students consideration all
the colleges affiliated to S.V. University.
a) First rank holder taking into consideration the aggregate marks
of II, III & IV year Examinations
b) First rank holder of the II year
c) First rank holder of the III year
d) First rank holder of M. Tech
