It has improved me a lot as a player.
Playing senior football is way better
than U23s to be honest, it’s quicker,
more mature and harder. Last season
was really good for me, I already feel
like I’ve developed compared to where
I was before, so hopefully I can do the
same this year.

SUPERSTITIONS?
Yeah… I always eat the same before
a game, I always eat pasta and then a
banana about an hour before kick-off.
I always put my left sock on first, then
my right one, my left shinpad first
and then my right one, same with my
boots. I don’t know how it started! I
reckon I did it once, played a fantastic
game and then after that just kept
doing the same thing.

I would 100 per cent still be at school
at the moment. I like economics so
I’d probably say something with
that, maybe my own sports-related
company because I love sport.
