GRADUATION FOR NIRAJ!
Congratulations to Niraj Ganatra, who has graduated
with a upper second class honours in Community Football
Coaching and Administration!
Niraj has been studying with Preston North End
Community and Education Trust for several years, first
enrolling on a BTEC programme with the Trust and later
progressing onto a foundation degree, before completing
a top-up degree this year to ensure he has a full degree
qualification.
Niraj had been enrolled on the Trust’s degree programme
which runs in partnership with the University of South
Wales and the EFL Trust, and continues to work as a casual
member of staff for the Trust, assisting with the provision
of our summer holiday camps and having also worked on
programmes such as Premier League Primary Stars and
National Citizen Service.
ANDY’S MAN CLUB
Men’s talking group Andy’s Man Club continues to offer a
safe space for all men over the age of 18 to talk in an open
and welcoming environment at Deepdale every Monday.
The group runs from 7pm until 9pm, with refreshments
provided, in the community offices at Deepdale on Monday
evenings.
The group has been well attended of late with 15 members,
including two new faces, attending a meeting earlier in
August.
There’s no need to make prior registration or supply any
personal details to attend; anyone interested can simply
turn up and talk.

INFLATABLE ACTIVITIES
The Trust were delighted to see fans back at Deepdale for
Hull City’s visit a fortnight ago, and with it the return of
community activities on matchday.
For our first game of the season, this included inflatables
located close-by to the new fan zone, with children trying
their luck at a football target challenge with the chance to
win prizes.
Preston’s Centre of Sporting Excellence learners – the
Trust’s post-16 education programme in partnership with
Preston College – had the chance to support those taking
part by working on the provision on the day.
Meanwhile, the Deepdale Duck also returned to Deepdale
for the first time since last March.
