Inspired by the findings of quantum
physics, the artist gradually enriches
the chaotic initial state of the artwork
with subtle visual links. In this way he
creates a ‚whole‘ that is bigger than its
‚parts‘. With each painting, Bax simulates
for us the universal principle of
evolution in a miniature format.
Da seine Bilder nicht durch das Dargestellte,
sondern durch ihre innere
Dynamik auf den Verstand wirken,
bedienen sie auch keinen bekannten
Denkmuster.
Sie schaffen so einen mystischen
Raum der nicht vom Intellekt vereinnahmt
werden kann. Dieser wirkt jedoch
nie willkürlich, ist er doch von
einer inneren Logik beseelt.
Beflügelt von den Erkenntnissen der
Quantenphysik, fügt der Künstler den
chaotischen Anfangszustand des Bildes
durch subtile visuelle Verknüpfungen
nach und nach zu einem großen
Ganzen zusammen. Auf diese Weise
simuliert er für uns das universale Entstehungsprinzip
im Miniaturformat.
