Treat Our Servers<br />
Cape May has been overrun by excited and eager visitors this summer. For the most part, that’s great for business... but it’s<br />
been a rough time for restaurant staff. Many of them are working outdoors in baking-hot temps, dealing with sometimes<br />
demanding customers. We think it’s time to hand out some well-deserved treats! Exit Zero Filling Station will deliver a<br />
meal and drinks for two to a deserving cause. We are also calling on our friends in local businesses to donate gift cards,<br />
which we will showcase in our posts. Please send us your nominations for overworked cooks, dishwashers and servers<br />

Last week, Exit Zero delivered a gift card from our friends at Gusto Brewing Company to Marijana, a manager and server<br />
at the Mad Batter as part of our Treat Our Servers program. We asked the community for nominations and Zack Pashley,<br />
owner of Gusto, pointed us toward Marijana. “We work closely with the Batter, so we have had so many opportunities to<br />
witness her extremely hard (and frequent) work in real time,” he says. “Whether we’re there for business or pleasure, she<br />
always seems to be there doin’ her thing like a boss.” Enjoy your gift card Marijana and keep being a boss!<br />
