STUDENT SERVICES<br />
Our Student Services Team offers support to ensure<br />
you gain the most from your studies. They will<br />
be your first point of contact for impartial careers<br />
advice, finding employment, university or personal<br />
matters. If you have any concerns, do not hesitate<br />
to raise this with the team or a member of staff<br />
and we will ensure it is dealt with appropriately and<br />
sensitively.<br />
ADDITIONAL LEARNING SUPPORT<br />
The Additional Learning Support (ALS) Team offers<br />
support if you have a Special Educational Needs<br />
and/or a Disability (SEND). We can tailor this to<br />
support based on your individual needs. Our aim is<br />
to prepare students for adulthood and to support<br />
them to become as independent as possible.<br />
The support provided may include:<br />
> In-class support<br />
> Small group interventions<br />
> Assistive Technology<br />
> Exam Access Arrangements<br />
> Personal Care support<br />
> Working with external agencies to provide<br />
specialist support<br />
> Level 3 Apprenticeships are equivalent to 2-3<br />
A Levels which can lead to, or be an alternative<br />
to university<br />

FINANCIAL SUPPORT<br />
Need money to help with your studies? Financial<br />
support may be available to you, depending on your<br />
personal or family circumstances. This could help<br />
with paying for travel, college supplies or uniform<br />
requirements. You may also be eligible for free<br />
college meals.<br />
All students under the age of 19 can apply for a<br />
16-18 PhotoCard with Metro travel which cuts<br />
costs of travel.<br />
