SELF-DEVELOPED MAGNETIC

The latest HVAC solution by MIDEA
The Midea Building Technologies (MBT), a business
division of MIDEA Group, has expanded immensely
since its establishment in 1999 through acquisitions,
joint ventures and an inclusion of new range of
products.
MIDEA MBT now has become an independent
arm of the Group with an extensive portfolio of
HVAC solutions for any application, which include the magnetic
centrifugal chillers. The company has recently launched a new
self-developed magnetic centrifugal chiller with a full range of
170~1800RT with the best offerings: energy saving, reliable and
advanced technology, less maintenance and environmentally
friendly.
KEY FEATURES
The launch of the new generation of magnetic centrifugal chiller
marked the successful landing of another independent research
and development (R&D) innovation by MIDEA and achieving
industrial application.
➢ Integration of highly advanced technologies in one product
The MIDEA self-developed magnetic centrifugal chiller features
a series of highly advanced technologies that were integrated
into its design, which can greatly improve energy efficiency,
reduce operating cost, extend the service and minimize aftersales
maintenance cost.
Case in point, the magnetic bearing technology has many
beneficial qualities such as it is oil-free, no friction, low noise,
has long product life cycle, low power consumption, and etc.
The new range of chiller also adopts micro-channel refrigerant
cooling technology, which addressed many issues like poor
cooling effect, easy condensation, poor reliability, noisy,
and etc. It is also designed with Full Falling Film Evaporating
technology that reduces evaporation by more than 40%,
compared to regular compressors fitted with the traditional
dissipating feature.
➢ MIDEA-patent compressor
The core of the MIDEA self-developed magnetic centrifugal
chiller is the compressor. The global market has always
been dominated by foreign companies, which became a
motivation for MIDEA to develop its own magnetic compressor
independently. The MIDEA magnetic centrifugal compressor
features double ceramic backup bearing and spontaneous
electric control mode to ensure efficient operation, and achieve
first-level energy efficiency. It also has accurate and safe control
of bearing as well as variable frequency control that greatly
expands the compressor’s operating range. The cooling load of
the single compressor can be as low as 10% so that the chiller
can easily adapt to its surrounding.
➢ Seamless operation
Another key feature of the MIDEA self-developed magnetic
centrifugal chiller is its M-BMS Intelligent Building Management
System, which is connected to the MIDEA Smart Cloud
Platform. The System has various features such as cloud data
storage, web browser, remote Internet monitoring service,
working condition data analysis, and quick fault diagnosis.
MIDEA is the proud owner of the independent intellectual
property rights for this new product, and strives to make it an
efficient and energy saving solution for the infrastructure sector
such as airports and rail transits in the future.
