The three-day Pukkelpop festival was<br />
first organized in 1985 as a small, local<br />
music event by the Humanist Youth<br />
and quickly became a well-known<br />
alternative outdoor festival. Over time,<br />
more genres of music were added and<br />
the list of international top acts from<br />
Eminem, Foo Fighters to The Offspring<br />
kept growing. Despite its size, the festival<br />
has remained true to its origins of<br />
offering entertainment and well-being<br />
to young people, and street theater<br />
groups, for example, also perform.<br />
