FACTS
Paradiso
The way to paradise is hidden behind
a refrigerator door in a pastrami
store in the trendy neighborhood
of El Born. Delicious food is
a recipe for success at Paradiso;
its bagels are legendary and the
coffee is also excellent. But the
bar menu is also worth checking
out - the creative cocktails, as well
as classic cocktails, but also wine
and beer should be tried.
One of the trendiest areas of Barcelona
is the small enclave of El Born.
Located near the Passeig de Sant
Joan, it is the hub of the city‘s alternative
culture and fashion scene.
El Born is located in the middle of Via
Laietana and Barceloneta. Las Ramblas
and the city center are a pleasant 10-minute
walk away; the beach is also just under
10 minutes away by foot.
The streets and buildings of the neighborhood
are reminiscent of its medieval past;
today, cozy sidewalk cafes invite you to
linger there. Cultural attractions include
numerous galleries and such as the Picasso
Museum with an extensive collection
of important works by Spanish artists,
the Basilica of Santa María del Mar, and
the popular Santa Caterina and Princesa
markets.
