<strong>São</strong> <strong>Roque</strong> has a territorial extension of more<br />
than 300 thousand km², including districts far from<br />
downtown. The need for commuting, therefore, is huge,<br />
and investment in the quality of public transportation is<br />
necessary. Therefore, it is necessary to think of solutions<br />
that address the needs of the population, and this is<br />
something that the current mayor, Guto Issa, guarantees<br />
he is doing:”We are proud to bring to our city a real<br />
revolution in public transport. We reduced the fee, fully<br />
renewed the municipal fleet, increased the integration<br />
time. Some people need to travel long distances, leaving<br />
the districts to the center and back, and they depend on<br />
public transport for that. You need comfort. You need<br />
time to integrate with the next bus. There has to be safe.<br />
And we are taking care of that”, says the mayor.<br />
