LEHIGH SHRINE CLUB

Nobles, first, Happy New Year to all of you from all of us. The Lehigh Shrine Club wishes you a

healthy and prosperous 2022. It has got to be better then 2021!

We thank our Past Potentate Ill. Sir Kraig W. Leiby for his dedication and leadership to our Shrine

during another trying year. He did a wonderful job and we enjoyed his year as Potentate.

Congratulation to our new Potentate Ill. Sir Joseph J. Hagan Sr. We know he is filling big shoes but we

are confident he will do well. He has had a lot of experience and has a good Divan behind him for advice

and support.

Our Christmas Party was held at the Cetronia Social

Hall on Dec 3. There were 57 Nobles and Ladies present,

including the Potentate and five Past Potentates, plus the

Divan. Dinner was either pork loin or chicken marsala.

There was an Ugly Sweater contest. The men’s winner

was Ill. Sir Ron Rapp, and Lady Nancy Lizun won for the Ladies. Noble Bob

Vrancken wore a sweater with my picture on it. Although he did not win, I think

he should have gotten Honorable Mention.

We voted on two minor changes to our LSC by-laws. We elected our officer

line for 2022. Pres. Dennis B. Guignet Sr. was elected to serve another term.

Thank youn Noble President for your willingness to serve yet again. Ill. Sir

David W. Evans was elected Club Secretary. We appreciate you volunteering

to serve. A very big thank you to Noble Earl J. Marlatt for his two years in that

position. You did a great job!

The Potentate gave some remarks to wish us all a blessed holiday season and

talked about how he enjoyed his year.

Ladies Nite was Dec. 17 at the Shepherd Hills Country Club. There were 50

Nobles and Ladies, including the entire Divan and a few Past Potentates. Dinner

President Dennis Guignet, Ron

Rapp, PP, and Karen Guignet

standing with Nancy Lizun sitting

was a choice of salmon, pork or chicken. Dance music was provided by the group We3. Everyone enjoyed the evening. Noble Bill

Glose donated two unique ceramic Shrine pieces to raffle that raised $105.00 to be donated to the Hospital. Thank you Noble Bill

for your generosity. Noble Joseph J. Hagan Sr. was the lucky winner

Why not make a New Year’s Resolution to attend two or more Shrine events in 2022? You may be surprised how much fun you

have. Nobles, remember to support and attend your Clubs and Units. Without active member participation, we WILL cease to exist.

As always, it’s GREAT to a Shriner!
