Dr. Irene Olumese
Mercy Chinwo

Mercy is a singer, songwriter, and actress who specializes
in gospel music. She became famous after winning
Season 2 of Nigeria Idol in 2012. On numerous streaming
sites, her tracks have received millions of views.
Irene Titilola Olumese is an Author, Inspirational
Speaker, and a Faith-informed Transformational
Coach. She is certified in Trauma-Informed Care
and Integrated Family Therapeutic Counseling,
and she is now pursuing certification in Integrated
Systems Couples Therapy and Core Transformative
Coaching.
Irene is a Bilateral Amputee and a Lung Transplant
Survivor. After twenty years of coping with chronic
respiratory disease (Bronchestasis) and a crippling
neurological-muscular disorder, she lost both legs
owing to complications from a lung transplant
(Myasthenia Gravis).
Now, she uses her multi-faceted and lifethreatening
traumatic experiences to encourage
hope in individuals facing life’s obstacles and
adversity.
