trainingTraining and developmentThe Royal Torbay Yacht Club is a Royal YachtingAssociation (RYA) recognised training centreoffering a comprehensive range of RYA trainingcourses: Powerboat Level 1 and Powerboat Level2 (PB2), RYA First Aid, RYA Marine Radio, RYA DaySkipper Theory, RYA sailing courses both for Juniorsand Adults and many more.Our friendly, fully qualified instructors arepassionate about sailing and have a wealth ofexperience training both adults and juniors. Theclub has an enviable range of training facilities ,dinghies and powerboats. We aim to ensure a safeand fun learning experience tailored to everyone’srequirements, encouraging learning at a pace tosuit each student’s ability and confidence.We are located a stone’s throw away from TorquayHarbour with convenient parking available just acrossthe road. It aims to teach boat handling andseamanship in powerboats.
