social activities
The club enjoys a varied and lively social life with a
wide range of functions and activities throughout
the year; there is always something for everyone.
The members' bar and terraced gardens are ever
popular for après sail drinks and the perfect location
to while away an afternoon or evening with friends.
Wednesdays are the highlight of the week for
many. During the summer there are hearty, homecooked
sailing suppers after racing and in winter
months our ever-popular suppers and quiz night.
Our restaurant with our own in-house chef offers a
regular Sunday roast, supper nights on Wednesdays
and a host of special nights throughout the year.
Special occasions and major sporting events always
feature in our calendar. This year sees the Football
World Cup between November 21st and December
18th. Further details of viewings, lunches and dinners
will be published in due course.
