The Crafty Herbalist<br />

Herbs have always played such<br />
an important role in my life. I grew<br />
up in the countryside, and from<br />
a young age was taught about<br />
botany, wildflowers, and traditional<br />
herbal medicine by the women in<br />
my family.<br />
This heritage led me to study the<br />
benefits of herbal medicine at<br />
university level, and I qualified as a<br />
Medical Herbalist with a BSc (Hons)<br />
degree in 2008. I run a herbal clinic<br />
with a fully stocked dispensary in<br />
the Chilterns, where I consult with<br />
patients, create bespoke herbal<br />
prescriptions, and organise regular<br />
learning experiences.<br />
Every year I run a variety of<br />
educational events, as I strongly<br />
believe we should cherish our<br />
ancestral roots and share our<br />
knowledge of natural health. I<br />
therefore teach a wide range<br />
of herbal related topics, and<br />
offer seasonal walks, talks and<br />
workshops, as well as my yearly<br />
in-depth herbal medicine course.<br />
