WelcoMe was launched immediately prior to one
of the worst pandemics we have seen for some
time and it is now as we attempt to return to
normal that it has never been needed more.
Gavin realised that the anxiety the disabled were
feeling wasn't just preventing them from feeling
comfortable on arrival but also preventing them
from leaving home at all. He has dedicated his
life to building the awareness of WelcoMe and its
ability to improve face to face communication as
we endeavor to build back better than before.
Since its launch, WelcoMe has increased its
coverage to over 150 venues across the UK
and Ireland including, shopping centers, council
services, sports and leisure centers, health centers,
museums and libraries, with more joining every
week. More than this it is the disabled consumers
that request venues to join the platform through
the app itself.
