Get Well Wishes to Menifee GSFE Sister Sue Lopez who is having heart surgery on Thursday May 

9th, we send her prayers for a speedy recovery. 

Hard to believe its May already this year is going by fast. April was a busy month for GSFE. We 

did a fun Gala in collaboration with SIMA (She Inspires ME) and 95 GSFE members received Award 

trophies from SIMA and certificates from GSFE and SIMA. All but 29 received them at the GALA 

and the 29 who were unable to attend I personally mailed to them and everyone should now 

have there’s except Lisa Ray who I will give her hers when she comes to speak in June for the 

Temecula network, she lives in Florida and is our Florida GSFE director. 

Last month I attended the Temecula meeting on the 6th, the Oceanside meeting on the 11th, the 

Long Beach meeting n the 18th, Riverside ,meeting on the 20th. ran the Coachella Valleymeeting 

on the 21st as Bette King the director was sick , also attended South Orange County meeting 

on the 26th, those were all live, then I did on Zoom the Canada Gsfe meeting on the 29, and the 

New York GSFE meeting on the 30th so it was a busy month, also we did a directors zoom board 

meeting on the 25th. All the meetings and speakers were amazing. 

Did you know as a GSFE member you can attend as many meetings a month of other networks 

that you have time as everyone you will meet different people and have the opportunity to 

share what you do and share with the members and guests how they can help you. Many of our 

members take advantage of this. 

My ASK is that you at least attend one meeting a month and more if you have time. If you belong 

to an organization any organization you need to support it and mark the date on your calendar of 

your network group and time and be sure and register with the director. 

Its the start of a new month if you go to globalsocietyforfemaleentrepreneurs.org and click on 

find a network every month Marcy puts every network flyer there so you can go there and see 

what meeting interests you that month and mark your calendar a very simple action task and 

then register with that director. So each month go there to check out, on that same site you can 

renew your dues and even if you have a friend that wants to join GSFE they can join there. 

Marcy will have in the newsletter the latest list of all our networks, where they meet and what 

date and time and the directors contact, print that and save it so you can see when and where 

you can SHOW UP. 

Also I love sharing things with you, today I learned when I was at staples that if you have a 

business that has a regular location not a home office you can register on the site below free and 

get tons of exposure so go to the link and check it out, non profits that also have a permanent 

location are also welcome but not home based businesses.

Congratulations to Nicole Farrell of the Menifee GSFE network who appeared in a story on the 

front page of a San Diego magazine. 

Congratulations to AnGele Cade, Director of San Fernando Valley GSFE, Dr Randi Ward, member 

Thursday Virtual network, and Katherine Setzer , all whom were presented with a special award 

from London on a zoom call headed by Dr Caroline Makaka on April 30th , the event was the 

“Beautiful Survivors World Summit”, I also was honored to receive an award. We are all most 

grateful to Dr Makaka for the International Award.

All will receive this International award in Parliament in London in October if they can go to 

London Dr. Makaka will see that they get them. But how exciting to be in Parliament in England. 

In last months newsletter you saw many of the photos from the GALA and from the Red event 

we did at Gigi’s those also happened in April. 

Congratulations to Menifee GSFE member Raven Hilden for winning the Non Profit of the year 

for the Menifee Chamber for her MilVet non profit, where she helps veterans and sends care 

packages overseas every month.

Dr Makaka shared this with me and invited me to join her in Thailand and its going to be a great 

week of balls and fabulous events. It’s happening July 25th thru August 1st. I am putting it on my 

vision board as I have never been there. Stone Love also is saying she wants to go as well. 

Also in August their is an event in London close to the end of August and then the first three 

days of Sept their is an event in Italy. I heard that Joan Wakeland, Stone Love and Virginia Earl are 

planning to go. Joan has always wanted to go to London, if you are wanting to go talk to these 

GSFE sisters and they can give you more info. Also while they are in London they also will be 

receiving an honorary Doctorate degree.

I am off to Atlanta, Georgia on the 19th of May to receive an Honorary Humantariun Award, the 

graduation is the 21st and I fly back the 22nd. Joan Wakeland and Stone Love and two of my 

friends in Atlanta plus Dr Randi Ward will be there to support me and I will be rooming at the 

Hilton with Dr. Caroline Makaka who nominated me for this award. In my lifetime I never thought 

this would happen for me, but I am most grateful. 

I will be running the Mission Valley GSFE meeting on May 1st as Marie Waite the director hurt her 

foot so hard to drive, and I was planning anyway to visit this network this month. I am speaking 

on the 5th for the San Jacinto Hemet Chamber of Commerce Women’s Conference at Soboba 

Casino. and the same night working as a VIP Hostess for Gillian Larson’s Reality Rally with 

Dorothy Wolons and Nicole Farrell. 

Also remember if you have a book and it’s not on the book page in the newsletter to send a jpeg

same goes if you have a podcast or TV show . 

See information in the newsletter for the On Line GSFE Virtual Conference this year in Sept 

headed by Angeline Benjamin, we will not have a live conference this year as this way more 

people can join in and you will have the opportunity to meet your GSFE sisters from all over the 

US and International as well.

speaker. She helped us learn how to strategize your business and personal growth. 

Also at our meeting we were able to hand out SIma awards to Joanne Grochs and Jeannette 

Lehoullier for checking in 200 people at our huge event for the SIMA gala event. 

SIMA Recognized john Ferrell for all his help setting up tables and chairs and whatever we

Thank you to everyone for the prayers. I honestly believe that all of your prayers helped me 

survive the tormentuous month of March and are helping me heal. Thank you! Let’s continue 

to pray for all of the women in GSFE who need healing, and miracles, and kindness from 

the universe. Women take on a lot. We carry so much trauma and grief and burdens on our 

shoulders while soldiering on and moving forward. We all need prayers. 

Thank you to all of the attendees of the South Inland Empire’s April meeting, for making it a 

huge success. It was beautiful! With announcements, we went a little bit over the allotted time 

and it was worth it. Everyone who attended participated and did mini presentations about 

their businesses. Normally, I like for our audience to participate by answering trivia questions 

or taking part in a game. But this was on a larger scale and it worked out very well. I hope that 

everyone enjoyed the meeting as much as I did. Since we had 1 hour, we all had 10 minutes 

to speak, which was more than enough time. We even had time for Q&A sessions after each 

presentation. All of our ladies did a lovely job! 

We welcomed a newcomer to the SIE network: Tasha-Ann Yamasta. She has been a chocolatier 

and owner Tasha-Ann’s Custom Sweets, making chocolates for over 25 years and works in 

Riverside, California. I am so glad that God sent her to us and more so that Tasha showed up 

today, did an excellent presentation upon my unexpected request, and had her ‘ask’ ready to

April was a very heavy month for me as I carried the pain of a celebrity in Nigeria, who died from 

domestic violence. This placed me on a mandate to create awareness of Abuse in all facets in my

The GSFE virtual network meets on the first Thursday of

This month, we are delighted to feature one of our new members, Julie 

Belmont. 

Julie Belmont grew up in Madrid, Spain. From an incredibly early age, she 

showed signs of a creative calling. Julie’s parents supported and nurtured her 

artistic interests and budding talent with their regular visits to the beautiful 

and historical Prado Museum officially known as Museo Nacional del Prado. 

There she wandered the galleries and open her heart and mind to the 

great works of the Masters. This led to a continued love to explore her own 

creative endeavors. Later her family moved to Toronto, Canada to be close 

to her older sister and her husband. Attended school starting in fifth grade, 

where not only she immersed herself in the academics while learning two 

new languages, English and French, simultaneously. Even though the years 

have passed, and her French is not fluent, she believes she recalls enough 

French to keep her from starving if she visits Montreal or France. 

Julie has been a freelance writer and artist for over 25 years. Her creative 

path has always been there, even when taking detours. Her background has 

encompassed a variety of professions from modeling and acting. Becoming 

Canada’s First Poster Girl, with four International Posters which shared the 

walls with her contemporary Farrah Fawcett and other glamorous celebrities 

of the day--to attending the Police Academy at Golden West College in 

Orange County and obtaining employment as a law enforcement officer at an 

Orange County City. This later led her to work as a private investigator. 

One of her greatest creations is her daughter, now an adult in her thirties. 

When her daughter was about seven years old, Julie’s husband decided 

to ask for a divorce. She became a single mom overnight, and with the exhusband 

eluding his financial responsibilities and leaving the country, she had 

to fend for herself and raise her daughter on her own. Julie’s determination 

to keep herself and her daughter in an affluent area in Southern California 

directed her to maintain three jobs at once for a time. She managed to work 

as a private investigator specializing in Workmen’s Compensation Fraud 

cases, interpreting legal documents, and court proceedings, and working as 

an executive assistant for a Fruit and Nut Broker in Laguna Beach. Of course, 

her primary responsibility remained to her daughter, she had a great support 

system of friends who helped her from time to time to pick up her daughter 

from school if she ran late while working on a case. Most of the time she 

was there to pick her up, and never missed any of her daughter’s recitals, or 

other after-school activities. After enjoying a nice dinner, she would draft her 

investigative reports while overseeing her daughter doing homework. After 

her daughter went to sleep, Julie would switch her mindset and embark on 

her fiction writing in order to feed her creative muse.

Currently, she is an author, artist, editor, digital designer, and creativity 

consultant/coach. She loves to empower others to follow their talents and 

bring their projects to fruition. Her body of work encompasses articles, blog 

posts, a monthly column, some under her name and others under her nom 

de plume Jennifer Rogers, and ghostwriting. Julie has authored non-fiction

ooks, such as The Path to Personal Success and Freedom, Creativity Business Plan for 

Artists and Artists at Heart, an illustrated Children’s book entitled Chloe’s Journey, based 

on her own rescue dog, and embellished to tell a tale (pardon the pun.) This is the first of 

a series, sharing the importance and responsibility of rescuing and taking care of the little 

lovable creatures we adopt into our lives. This passion is why Julie donates a percentage of 

her commissions and royalties to No-Kill Shelters and Animal Rescue Facilities. Julie’s art is 

varied from landscapes, and seascapes to realistic pet portrait paintings, which is one of her 

favorite subjects to paint. She utilizes an assortment of mediums such as pencils, charcoals, 

color pencils, watercolors, acrylics, and oils. Not necessarily all at once unless she is working 

on a mix-medium piece. As a Certified Digital Designer, she has added this skill to her 

creative tool kit to bring forth imaginative visions to her book cover designs. 

In her spare time, she enjoys taking walks with her beloved Chloe, chasing, and playing with 

her rescue cat, Cali, and relishing in her garden. She prides herself in finding ways to make 

people smile, whether telling a story or reading a children’s book and making the characters’ 

voices come alive. Meditation is important to her to find balance, focus, and surround herself 

with harmony. 

Lately, she has chosen Tai Chi as a form of harnessing strength, flexibility, and vigor. She 

loves to be dancing and listening to a variety of music--from flamenco, and classical music 

to alternative and dance tunes, which energize or are soothing depending on the mood or 

activity. Let’s not forget jazz from the likes of Jon Batiste which add the perfect soundscape 

to her current writing project, a cozy mystery called Bad Blood in the Bayou, set in New 

Orleans.

Nanciann Horvath is an Actress, Comedienne and nurse. She was born in Bethlehem, Pa. to a Theatrical Hungarian/Slovak 

family. She decided at age 5 to be a nurse when she saw those great white crisp uniforms! 

After graduating High School (Freedom) and Nursing school (Sacred Heart Hospital School of Practical Nursing) she moved 

to Morristown, N. J. where she did both nursing and local theater. When she moved to New York City she worked part-time 

as a private Oncologist and at the Radio City Music Hall while studying at the HB Studios. 

Moving out to Los Angeles proved to be a good decision because having joined AFTRA (American Federation of Radio and 

Television Artists) in NYC; her SAG (Screen Actors Guild) card came one year later. 

Nanciann has always seen the need to live in the present moment. Nursing has shown her we all are here to make a 

difference and each day is truly a gift. After doing improvisation with the LA Connection and other LA groups she started 

reading and doing research about the health benefits of improv. Her business, Improv For Health, has been building for 

years with health groups, businesses, church groups, schools, senior centers, and anyone interested in obtaining better 

total health. She has done her famous Dr. Seuss readings at schools, hospitals, museums, senior centers, and even the LA 

Zoo! Says Nanciann, “Improvisation and comedy teach us to be flexible, live in the moment, and think outside the box.”

The Canadian Chapter of GSFE had another fantastic meeting in April! Six of 

us were in attendance and we left feeling renewed in our personal power. We 

want to thank our members Angeline Benjamin, Robbie Motter and Susie 

Mierzwik for joining us and supporting the Canada GSFE chapter. 

During our meeting, we learned more about why we love GSFE when the 

question of “What has been the biggest benefit of being a part of GSFE?” was 

answered. Each person highlighted the true camaraderie this community 

fosters and all the opportunities to learn and grow. We’re all truly lucky to be 

a part of GSFE and it’s another reason to share it with other women!
