investment company Colliers.
The national development manager for
MainlandCapital,BlairBrown, says the
economic strength of the Rangiora
catchment, combined with the lack of
supply of commercial land, attractedthe
company to the project.
‘‘Workingclosely with Waimakariri
District Council, and neighbour Daniel
SmithIndustries,has allowedustoarrive
at adevelopmentplan we see as very
complementarytoRangiora’s commercial
precinct.
‘‘We lookforward to being part of the
region’s ongoing success.’’
The new industrial park willcover 13.8
from 1249 square metres(sqm) through to
the largestwhich is 9156sqm.
potential to createmore employment,
greatereconomic activity and agreater
range of products and services for local
residents.
‘‘The Waimakariri District, from the
mountains to the sea haseverything in
between, offering afantastic lifestyle and
since the opening of the new motorways,
Christchurch Northern Corridor and the
WesternBelfast Bypass, it is now just a
short drive to both the Christchurch
CentralBusiness District and
Christchurch International Airport.
‘‘Soitiscertainlynot surprisingthat
more and more peopleare wantingto
move to the area, for both lifestyle and
business,’’hesays.
‘‘Last yearwehad 929 new homesbuilt
in thedistrict, and consentsare still
