Free Movie<br />

Mars Property Services and the London<br />

State Theater, 67 S. Main St., London, will<br />

present “Spirit Untamed” (PG). This show<br />

is free and open to the public. Showtime is<br />

In “Sprit Untamed,” young Lucky<br />

Prescott befriends a wild mustang named<br />

Spirit, who shares her rebellious spirit.<br />

When a heartless wrangler plans to capture<br />

Pleasant Township Trustees<br />

The Pleasant Township trustees will<br />

meet July 5 at 7 p.m. due to the 4th of July<br />

holiday. The meeting will take place at the<br />

township building, 84 N. London St., Mount<br />

Deercreek Township Trustees<br />

The next meeting of the Deercreek Township<br />

trustees is set for 7 p.m. July 5 at the<br />

Fairfield Township Trustees<br />

The next regular meeting of the Fairfield<br />

Township trustees has been changed. Due<br />

to the Independence Day holiday, the board<br />

will meet at 8 p.m. July 6, instead of July 4.<br />

The meeting will take place in the township<br />

Symphony in London<br />

As part of their Summer Night Music<br />

Concert Series, the string section of the<br />

Columbus Symphony Orchestra (CSO) will<br />

perform at 7:30 p.m. <strong>June</strong> 30 at First United<br />

Methodist Church of London, 52 N. Main St.<br />

Tickets for the concert are $25 for adults<br />

and $10 for children. They can be purchased<br />

by calling (614) 469-0939 or by visiting<br />

www.londonfumc.org, clicking on “News &<br />

Events,” and following the links to the Symphony’s<br />

ticket order page.<br />

Additionally, the church is partnering<br />

with The Butcher Block restaurant to offer<br />

a pre-fixe dinner prior to the show at 5 p.m.<br />

at the restaurant, 2280 State Rte. 56, London.<br />

The dinner costs $35 per person and includes<br />

a choice between a steak dinner or<br />

salmon dinner. To make reservations for<br />

screen-print bags featuring the famed Big<br />

this interactive juggling show from the juggler<br />

and storyteller known as The Space<br />

Painter. With water balloons, sponges, and<br />

TORKS is a non-profit organization that<br />

flies model aircraft.<br />

• Summer Family Storytime. This special<br />

storytime for ages 8 and older will takes<br />

place at 10:30 a.m. <strong>June</strong> 27. Story books and<br />

age-appropriate crafts are planned.<br />

• Ladies Night Out Movie. Watch “Dog”<br />

(PG-13) on the library’s big screen on <strong>June</strong><br />

27. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The library will<br />

supply individual popcorn treats, cold<br />
