Sonning Tennis Club
As part of the village Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Sonning Lawn Tennis Club held a fun tennis session for juniors
run by the club's Lawn Tennis Association coaches Rob Stone and Rob Velo. The children had a great time and the club
is grateful to the Sonning Fire Brigade fund for their donation which paid for the coaches.
Charvil female voices new project
Charvil's, Project Singers, are recruiting for their autumn
term project — 'Home for Christmas', a concert to be held on
17 December — plus some local carol singing.
The Project Singers have a section for girls between the 10
and 18 years who rehearse on Sundays, 6.15 - 7.45pm, and a
ladies section who meet on Mondays 8.00-9.30pm.
Informal auditions are being held in July.

Make a date for the Sonning Show
This year's Sonning Village show is on Saturday 10
September at Sonning CofE Primary School. The schedules
will be available shortly. Entries have to be submitted on the
day of the show, 10am - 12 noon. The Fete starts at 2pm.
Love is all you need
A fun singing afternoon for female voices led by Suzanne
Newman in tribute to the Beatles is being held in Charvil
Village Hall on Saturday 3 September, 2-4pm. For more
