IG achieves qualitycertification under IATF16949:2016 in both plants.Throughout this period IG continued with the certification ofits quality management system under the ISO/TS 16949:2009standards - the first certification was in 2003. IG satisfactorilyperformed two audits between 2012 and 2015 whichcorresponded to the international standards that identifiesthe requirements regarding design of the productive process,development, manufacturing, installation and services relatedto any product of the automotive sector. The ISO/TS 16949:2009standards were modified later and became known as IATF 16949:2016.The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) carried out this upgradewith the objective of responding comprehensively to the coordinationof evaluation and certifying systems through the chain of global supplyof the automotive sector including parameters such as: change control,risk analysis associated to quality system and issues connected to thetraceability of the products. In 2018 IG ended the transition and certifiedits system of quality management with the IATF 16949:2016 in bothproductive plants.50
