GOALKEEPER | CONNOR RIPLEY<br />

AGE: 29 | PREVIOUS CLUB: PRESTON NORTH END<br />

The son of former England, Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers winger<br />

Stuart Ripley, Connor joined <strong>Morecambe</strong> in the summer from North West<br />

neighbours Preston North End.<br />

Coming through the ranks at hometown club Middlesbrough, he made<br />

just three appearances for the club before loan stints with the likes<br />

of Motherwell, Oldham Athletic, Bury, and Accrington Stanley. Joining<br />

Preston North End in 2019, the former England U20 stopper made 10<br />

appearances for the Lilywhites before a move to the Mazuma Stadium.<br />

CENTRE BACK | RYAN DELANEY<br />

AGE: 25 | PREVIOUS CLUB: BOLTON WANDERERS<br />

Former <strong>Bolton</strong> <strong>Wanderers</strong> defender Ryan Delaney has started the season<br />

well for <strong>Morecambe</strong> and has been a regular in the heart of the Shrimps’<br />

defence alongside Farrend Rawson in the early weeks of the 2022/23<br />

campaign.<br />

Coming through at his hometown club Wexford, the former Republic of Ireland<br />

U21 joined Burton Albion in 2016. But, after never making an appearance for<br />

the Brewers, he joined Rochdale in 2018. Brought to the University of <strong>Bolton</strong><br />

Stadium by Keith Hill in 2020, he made a total of 27 appearances (3 goals) for<br />

the club before signing for <strong>Morecambe</strong> in June 2021.<br />

CENTRE MIDFIELDER | OUSMANE FANÉ<br />

AGE: 28 | PREVIOUS CLUB: UITM<br />

Although a well-travelled midfielder who has played his football across the<br />

globe at intervals during his career, the Parisian is familiar with the English<br />

game following previous spells with Kidderminster Harriers, Oldham Athletic,<br />

and Shrewsbury Town.<br />

Starting out in France with the likes of Bayonne, Paris FC, Racing Paris, and<br />

GSI Pontivy, he had a brief spell in Norway with Lyn before his first move to<br />

England with Kidderminster Harriers in 2016. Returning to England to sign for<br />

<strong>Morecambe</strong> in February 2022, Fané’s move came following spells playing<br />

football in Malaysia and Indonesia with UiTM and Persiraja Banda Aceh.<br />

STRIKER | COLE STOCKTON<br />

AGE: 28 | PREVIOUS CLUB: TRANMERE ROVERS<br />

Enjoying the best season of his career to date in 2021/22, Stockton<br />

managed an impressive 26 goals in 50 appearances for the Shrimps –<br />

playing an influential role in the club’s survival in League One.<br />

The Huyton-born frontman started out with Tranmere Rovers in 2012 and<br />

remained at Prenton Park until a move to Hearts in 2017. A brief spell at<br />

Carlisle United followed before a return to Tranmere Rovers in 2018, and<br />

since his move to <strong>Morecambe</strong> in 2019, he has scored 47 goals in 137<br />

appearances.<br />
