such as Warrington Chamber of Commerce, Warrington
Business Exchange and Real5 Networking.
Alongside your course, you will complete an industry
placement, immersing yourself in the business world. This
is also a great chance to make new contacts and potentially
enhance your future career opportunities.
We also welcome many guest speakers to the college -
such as leading professionals from the world of marketing,
HR and finance - who can give you valuable insights into
your potential future career.
Trips & visits
You will have the opportunity to visit various companies to
increase your commercial knowledge and meet industry
experts. Students have attended exciting events such as the
Prolific North marketing event in Manchester and participated
in informative business workshops at Alton Towers.
You may even have the chance to venture overseas;
previous students have visited locations such as New York
and Berlin.
Facilities
Being surrounded by many top employers and
multi-million-pound businesses; Warrington is a great
location for experiencing business and commerce. On
campus you will also have access to conferencing facilities
and professional suites, as well as modern computer
classrooms to enhance your learning.
Progression opportunities & alumni
After completing your level 3 course you can progress
onto university, a higher apprenticeship, or choose to
specialise and enrol on one of our professional courses,
such as: Leadership & Management (ILM accredited),
Human Resources (CIPD accredited) or Accounting (AAT
accredited).
Students have progressed onto various destinations
including employment and higher study. Level 3 student
Mehsam Sheikh has secured a sought-after place at
Liverpool Hope University to study Economics & Law.

Meet our expert tutors: Gavin Segal
Business Tutor Gavin Segal has a wealth of industry experience in various areas of business
including advertising, marketing and project management.
He has worked internationally in various roles including auditing and field market management
for renowned organisations such as Coca-Cola and Unilever. Gavin is also a member of the
Chartered Institute of Marketing, which recognises achievement in the marketing industry.
Gavin enjoys sharing his experience with his students and setting them on the right path
towards a successful future.
