November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)
What is NaNoWriMo? It’s a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On
November 1, participants begin working toward the goal of writing a 50,000-word
novel by 11:59 pm on November 30. Valuing enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline,
NaNoWriMo is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel.
The Quill & Pint Writers’ Group will host two
informational sessions - 7:00 - 9:00 pm October 19 & October 26 and
four virtual write-ins during the month of November (Nov. 2, 9, 16, & 30). They
are focused gatherings for writing but they also include writing tips, writing
games, and prizes! Let’s get that novel out of your brain and onto the page!
We will be writing together, but separately, on Zoom! Register to receive the
Zoom link for the workshops.
