you to map making as a means for reflection <strong>and</strong> personal<br />
storytelling using ideas of identity, family history, <strong>and</strong><br />

Register for an online conversation between LGBTQ asylum activist Edafe Okporo <strong>and</strong> Ari Shaw,<br />
Senior Fellow & Director of International Programs at The Williams Institute at the UCLA School of<br />
Law. They will discuss how Edafe Okporo’s experience of seeking asylum in America illustrates some<br />
of the major issues LGBTQ people face in seeking refuge in America today.<br />

- With One-on-One Application Help<br />
In an information session led by Ms. Grace Arreola-Muñoz, she will<br />
explain navigate the U.S. citizenship process <strong>and</strong> the steps required<br />
to become a U.S. citizen. Afterward, attendees can meet with experts<br />
one-on-one to discuss their personal citizenship applications.<br />
