IVRUPDATE IVR, Creative Funding and RED share Tow Show sneak preview The Institute of Vehicle Recovery (IVR) looks forward to meeting industry colleagues and friends at the annual Tow Show. In a three-way collaboration with show sponsors Creative Funding Solutions and RED (Recovery Equipment Direct), visitors are encouraged to stop by the IVR stand to pick up the latest version of the Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Protocol (free). This year the IVR will be highlighting the need for an evacuation plan when storing alternatively powered vehicles and how it may benefit you to engage with your local Fire Service. On the neighbouring RED stand, visitors can pick up their ancillary equipment for electric vehicle recovery and storage. RED are known for their knowledge of the industry and providing high quality equipment that meets their customer’s specific needs. On the stand directly opposite, the Creative Funding Solutions team are on hand to discuss funding your next alternatively fueled vehicle or business venture, with ample opportunity to talk through your options in a private space. The added bonus is the chance to win a 1-day IVR training course on each day of the show. The IVR AGM and Gala Dinner Celebrating 40 Years However, a key focus on the IVR stand will be the IVR’s 40th year celebrations. As technical advisors to the industry, the Institute of Vehicle Recovery has striven to raise the professional skill levels and competence of those who work in rescue and recovery through training and development. The Institute takes this opportunity to thank all those organisations and individuals who have over the past 40 years supported them in their quest to move the industry forward to professional and safer roadside working. The biggest celebrations will take place at the Institute’s AGM and Gala Dinner on 4 March 2023 and the IVR urges members and non-members to save the date for this year’s bumper celebrations and to book early to avoid disappointment, for what promises to be a Gala Dinner to remember.
