THE HYGIENE
MANAGEMENT
REVOLUTION
At BICSc, we believe that
a great tourist experience
begins with a clean and
hygienic environment
and we are working with
our trusted partner,
Riyadh-based SaveFast
Training Academy to find
ambitious Saudi Nationals
who will be the leaders of
a Hygiene Management
Revolution.
The unprecedented growth in
the Saudi tourism industry that
is being driven by Vision 2030
has created the demand for a
tourist experience that meets
international standards for
hygiene management and the
Saudi Government’s plan is that
this should be driven by ‘homegrown
talent’. So, in order to
attract ambitious young Saudis
to the industry, our partnership
aims to change perceptions, and
elevate standards, improving
both education and awareness in
the Housekeeping Sector of the
Kingdom’s Tourism Industry.
In a proud moment, SaveFast was
selected by the Saudi Ministry of
Tourism as a training provider for
their Tourism Pioneers Program.
This ground-breaking program is
part of the government’s drive to
achieve its Vision 2030 aims by
empowering and upskilling Saudi
Nationals. SaveFast is training
thousands of aspiring Saudis in
Hospitality Hygiene Management
in partnership with BICSc. The
partnership has developed the
innovative new Hygiene Officer
Training Program which delivers
the fundamental knowledge and
skills required to begin a career in
this important sector.
SaveFast has developed a
5-day course that covers all the
fundamental aspects of the role
of Hygiene Management in the
Housekeeping Sector, including
the BICSc Licence to Practice,
allowing aspiring Saudi Nationals
to become the drivers of a
revolution in cleaning standards
and methodologies.
BICSc is delighted to be involved
in this very worthwhile endeavour
and we hope that along with
SaveFast we can usher in a
step change in the quality and
implementation of hygiene
management in the Kingdom.
