<strong>The</strong> behavior of road users has changed: people<br />
are using more and, in particular, different<br />
means of transport on their journeys. As the<br />
inventors of micromobility, we have been<br />
convinced for over 25 years that a scooter is<br />
the ideal means of transportation for cities -<br />
light, compact, safe and sustainable! Contrary<br />
to developments in the field of free-float<br />
E-scooter sharing, we are pursuing the strategy<br />
of personal electric scooters. In our opinion,<br />
the business model originating in the USA<br />
is neither sustainable nor safe. A study published<br />
by ETH in January 2022 shows that<br />
privately owned E-scooters, in contrast to<br />
sharing offers, actually improve the ecological<br />
balance.* Owning your own E-scooter<br />
means taking responsibility for its condition<br />
and handling. Thanks to their low weight and<br />
easy foldability, our E-scooters can easily be<br />
taken into the home or office and combined<br />
with public transport. It is also dangerous to<br />
use E-scooters in busy city centers without<br />
