Migration is part of the solution to Australia's chronic skills shortages. So, too,<br />
educating people about the pathways <strong>Def</strong>ence and defence industry provide. In this<br />
photo, A group of future engineers were given a unique opportunity to sample the<br />
benefits of a career in <strong>Def</strong>ence when they were hosted by RAAF Base Richmond on<br />
Monday 5 December. The 68 students and staff from Honeywell Engineering Summer<br />
School (HESS) were given first-hand insight into some of the roles and functions they<br />
can expect to undertake as an engineer in the RAAF, with the hope of inspiring them<br />
to consider it as a career.
