The feature table is inspired by foam and functionof Bauhaus architecture and the design takes account of marketing, product and store design. The chrome finish of the feature table reflects thevibrancy of the client’s signature products throughout the store’s interior design. With the monolithic and weighted feel of the display table and itssimple use of the contemporary materials and details, the feature table does not distract the eyes away from the products. It rather lifts and holdsthe products as if placed above a monolithic sculpture, magnifying products on display. The take on the plan was to maximize the open floor plan concept, which canaccommodate moveable furniture in the living room space for flexibility. In addition, most rooms are seen from the living room as opposed tothe original static layout for visual connection. The approach to layout aims to maximize efficiency and makes residents feel less congestedand more welcoming, which is more appropriate for one of the most demanded demographics, which is an young family client with children.35
