and a lot of our work is
meant to look like it’s always
been there, especially with
regard to historic district
regulations,” says Paul Weber,
principal architect of Paul
Weber Architecture. “We use
older-world detailing, and
consider a real premium in
fine craftsmanship. In the past
five years, we have evolved
to embrace finding solutions
for sustainability issues. While
sustainability factors have
shifted to be at the forefront of
our mind, our evolution upholds
the same level of design and
creativity. We recently did a
net-zero house, which has an
aesthetic that is much simpler
and minimalist, and we learned
a lot from that project. We
implemented specialized details
and atypical structure methods
that symbolize where the future
of architecture is going.”
