Your holiday begins in Rome, where you will have one night to relax,
unwind over a delicious dinner with a glass of wine before boarding
Norwegian Breakaway for your nine night Mediterranean cruise.
Set sail for the beautiful Greek Islands of Santorini, Mykonos and
Corfu, discover these charming islands with whitewashed houses
and blue-domed churches. Santorini offers astonishing sights with
black sand beaches, vertiginous cliffs and stunning views. Mykonos
has a cosmopolitan atmosphere and vibrant nightlife with
legendary beach clubs while Corfu is a romantic paradise. You will
then sail to Italy first stopping by lovely Valletta in Malta. Here, you
can explore this citadel city and some of Europe’s most impressive
medieval relics, such as Caravaggio’s masterpiece in St John’s
Co-Cathedral and St Elmo’s Fort or the swim in the famous
turquoise sea.
Onwards to the Sicilian coast and Mount Etna and stylish Taormina
to Messina before heading to Naples, a vibrant city with a rich
culture of food and art. From the island of Capri to the ancient ruins
of Pompeii and Herculaneum, there is plenty to discover in this
beautiful part of Italy. The last part of the cruise brings you to Pisa
and Florence. In Pisa, admire the city’s famous leaning tower. In
Florence, climb the famous Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral, visit
the famous Uffizi gallery or Galleria dell’Accedemia to see
Michelangelo’s David. Finally, you’ll return to Rome where your
cruise will end.

for a fantastic view of Santorini’s caldera – a flooded volcanic crater

Next sail to Messina, Sicily, where you can experience the stunning

island of Capri or the ancient ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum.
There is plenty to discover in this beautiful part of Italy. Spend your
final day at sea sailing towards Barcelona where your cruise will
come to an end.
