Your first stop on this holiday to California and Hawaii is the
stunning waterfront city of San Francisco, known for its steep hills
and old-style cable cars. Take a cable car from Fisherman’s Wharf,
known for its shops, restaurants and waterfront setting to Union
Square the 2.6-acre public plaza in downtown San Francisco. Visit
Alcatraz Island, now a National Park and find out how it has evolved
over the years with an excellent self-guided audio tour. The ferry
ride over is also a great opportunity to see the iconic Golden Gate
Bridge.
Set sail across the Pacific Ocean to the Hawaiian Islands where your
first stop will be Hilo, the Big Island of Hawaii – a paradise of blacksand
beaches, tropical rainforest and volcanic mountains. Next up is
Honolulu on the island of Oahu, famous for Waikiki Beach and Pearl
Harbor. You’ll also visit Kauai, known as the “Garden Island” where
the terrain ranges from the volcanic slopes of Mt. Waialeale and the
desert-like beauty of Waimea Canyon to the Wailua River’s lush
Fern Grotto. Your last stop in Hawaii will be in Maui, which boasts
stunning landscapes and superb beaches at the foot of Mt.
Haleakala, a dormant volcano that rises 10,000 feet above the
Pacific Ocean.
As you sail homewards, there’s time for one last stop in Ensenada ,
Mexico with its warm Mediterranean climate before arriving back in
San Francisco.
Begin your holiday to the West Coast of America with stays in both
Las Vegas and Los Angeles before departing on a five-night cruise
to Mexico.
The first stop on your exciting holiday is Las Vegas where the
famous strip awaits, full of opulent hotels and casinos, show
stopping entertainment, and nightlife like nowhere else!
On to Los Angeles, where you can experience old and new
Hollywood, the Walk of Fame or take in the views from the Getty
Observatory. You can even visit Disneyland in Anaheim or Universal
Studios nearby. LA has lots of great neighbourhoods to stroll
around with great shops, bars, and restaurants all the way out to
the coast, Santa Monica and Malibu.
Onboard Norwegian Bliss enjoy five days of fun in the sun as you
cruise the Mexican Riviera Marvel at El Arco, the dramatic rock
formation that is Cabo San Lucas's signature landmark and a
popular gathering spot for sea lions. Take a tour of Baja California's
oldest winery in Ensenada and stop at the market to pick up some
local crafts. Witness breath-taking sunsets, enjoy fun-filled activities
like kayaking, zip lining, snorkelling, and diving at every stop as well
as old traditions and stunning towns to visit along the way.
Then it's back to Los Angeles, where mammoths roam the La Brea
Tar Pits and celebrities stroll Rodeo Drive.
