Attractions<br />

• The Dali Museum – the largest collection of Salvador Dali’s work<br />

outside of Europe located in downtown St.Petes<br />

• The Chihuly Glass Collection in downtown St.Petes<br />

• Clearwater Marine – visit “Winter” the star of the film Dolphin Tale<br />

• Sunsets at Pier 60, a Clearwater beach tradition of celebrating the<br />

sunsets with a gathering of street performers from 6-9 pm each<br />

night.<br />

• John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk – an outdoor shopping and dining<br />

complex situated on Madeira Beach. From here you can go deep<br />

sea fishing or take a dolphin watching cruise.<br />

• Fort De Soto Park – get out on the water and kayak or canoe<br />

through the wetlands and Mangroves or explore the parks trails,<br />

relax on its white sandy shores, fish or visit the historic fort.<br />

• Caledesi Island State Park – a barrier island off the coast and<br />

accessible only by boat via the ferry from Honeymoon Island.<br />

You can spot dolphins swimming along the shore. The island<br />

features abundant wildlife and a Rangers station. Bring along<br />

a picnic and enjoy a great family day out.<br />

• Bike the Pinnellas Trail – a 38 mile continuous bike path, which<br />

stretches from downtown St. Petersburg up to Tarpon Springs<br />

cutting through great small towns and brilliant nature.<br />

• Dunedin – a quaint and walkable little town north of Clearwater<br />

that is home to Florida’s oldest microbrewery. It’s features great<br />

artisan shops and is perfect for a day away from the Beach.<br />

• Stroll the St. Pete Pier which spreads out along 26 acres of Tampa<br />

Bay waterfront filled with green spaces, eateries and activities.<br />

The Pier is a perfect place to spend a day.<br />

Dining and nightlife<br />

There is lots to choose from and something for everyone’s budget.<br />

Sea Food is a favourite being so close to the water and there are<br />

some lovely waterfront restaurants, rooftop lounges and bars.<br />

• Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill – in Clearwater Beach is very popular<br />

with locals and well known for its grouper sandwiches.<br />

• Paradise Grille – where beach bites are served at picnic tables<br />

overlooking Pass-a-Grille Beach<br />

• Guppys on the Beach (Indian Rocks beach): the hardest decision<br />

is what to order and if you over indulge then you can walk it off on<br />

the Beach!<br />

• The FrogPond – a great locals restaurant for breakfast and brunch<br />

in St.Petes<br />

Getting around<br />

Clearwater Beach is quite walkable so you don’t necessarily need<br />

a car to get around. Other options would be to use the Suncoast<br />

Beach Trolley: Hop on board to explore the area from Clearwater<br />

Beach all the way down to St.Petes Beach and Pass a Grille and to<br />

further on to downtown St.Petes.<br />
